Senior women retain relay gold
Derby AC senior women triumphantly retained their title in the 2026 Northern Counties Relay Champs in Sheffield in October.
The trio of Molly Hudson, Evie Jones and Annabelle Ita finished in a winning time of 35:56 in the cross country event at Graves Park in Sheffield.
In total more than 50 DAC athletes took part as the club fielded 17 teams.
Molly’s career as a track athlete is in focus on a BBC Sportscene interview where she talks about how she nearly quit the sport, but persevered to become a British indoor silver medallist this year.
